The principle

A written standard is what makes quality repeatable across projects and independent of any individual. Terrasol is a boutique residential developer in Limassol, and the scale is deliberate: fewer projects allow more supervision per project, which is the only reliable way a small company can deliver consistent quality.

Minimum dimensions, storage ratios and acoustic targets are fixed before design begins. Stated principles are cheap; what makes them real is that they can be checked against the delivered building, the published specification and the experience of owners two winters after handover.

  • Fixed upfront: Dimensions, storage, acoustics
  • Revised: Between projects only
  • Exceptions: Argued and recorded

Where it comes from

The name joins terra and sol — earth and sun — the two constants that shape every building on this island. Material honesty and climate response are therefore not stylistic preferences but the brief itself: orientation, shade, thermal mass, durable surfaces and outdoor rooms that are usable for most of the year.

Standards are revised deliberately between projects, never quietly during one. The visual identity follows the same logic. Open arcs rotating around a still centre suggest growth and shelter without illustrating either, and the same geometry drives motion across this website so that the brand behaves consistently wherever it appears.

How it shows up in the work

Every exception must be argued and recorded, which keeps drift visible. In practice this means resolving the unglamorous decisions first — storage ratios, acoustic separation, balcony depth, orientation, service-charge structure — and only then addressing the visible ones. A home that photographs beautifully but stores nothing and overheats in August has failed the brief regardless of how it looks.

It also means writing things down. Specifications name brands and models. Payment schedules define their triggers. Availability and pricing logic are published rather than gated. Ambiguity only ever benefits one side of a transaction, and it is never the buyer's.

The standard we hold ourselves to

Our internal design standards fix minimum dimensions, storage provision, acoustic targets and envelope performance before a project begins. Standards are revised deliberately between projects, never quietly during one, and every exception must be argued and recorded so that drift stays visible.

Aftercare completes the picture. Defects in the first two years run through one named contact and a tracked list, and owners receive manuals, warranties and as-built information as a complete file. We treat aftercare as the real marketing, because it is the only marketing that compounds.

What it means for you

For a buyer, the practical value of a coherent brand is predictability: the same vocabulary on every page, the same taxonomy of status on every card, the same specification discipline in every building, and the same person answering the phone before and after handover.

The brand bible sets out the full identity system — logo, colour, typography, taxonomy, layout and motion — with the exact values implemented in this website, so that design and build stay in step. Thoughtful design, lasting value: applied to the buildings, and to everything that describes them.

Frequently asked

What does "the internal design standards" mean in practice?
Minimum dimensions, storage ratios and acoustic targets are fixed before design begins.
How is it verified rather than claimed?
Through published specifications, certified energy performance, tracked aftercare and completed buildings you can walk through before committing.
Where can I see the full brand standards?
The brand bible page documents logo usage, colour tokens, typography rules, the status taxonomy, layout grid and motion principles, with the values as implemented in code.
